Find me a drink!

So I've been drinking a lot lately with friends and really looking for something I can drink and actually enjoy but have yet to find anything was hoping you guys could help me out. Usually when I go to the bar I drink bud. I can stand it but don't really enjoy it. I really hate the taste of most liquors i've tried so really just tried and cant really stand any of the strait. So Any ideas on a beer and liquor (for shots) that I might like?

So far i've tried:

Beer:

Random home brewed ones at local bar
coors light
bud (so far the best but still dont truly enjoy it)
corona (taste like what i imagine piss would taste like)


Liquor:

smirnoff vodka - watermelon (shots, hated it)
goldslauger (shots, was alright but not big fan of big red)
jager (shots, horrible)
new amsterdam gin (mixed with sprite horrible, mixed with cranberrry juice and was ok)
cruzan banana rum (shots, horrible)
jack daniels wisky (mixed with coke, horrible)
absolute vodka(mixed with oj, love it but only if i cant tase the vodka and i love orange juice)
absent (mixed with green apple slushy, horrible)


If it helps local bar has a drink called purple heart that I actually really like when they make it right, it has:
Smirnoff Grape Vodka, Triple Sec,
Blue Curacao, Red Bull,
Sweet & Sour, Grenadine

They also have this which I like... not sure if it was becuase I was already drunk or not though.

I'll give Yuengling a try I guess heard about it a lot. Also please describe the flavor of drinks if possible.

I dunno where you're hanging out, but for cheap stuff you can get anywhere I think my fave mixes are

drink:
Caribou Lou
Malibu Rum (coconut derp) + Pineapple juice, with a layer of 151 on the top

It's uh... fruity? lol, I mean it's coconut + pineapple, pretty obvious

Shot:
Southern comfort + lime juice.

soco is very sweet, the lime juice gives it a nice bitter kick

My wife is always partial to lemon drops, just ask for them extra sweet if your not keen on liquor taste. I prefer Long Island Iced Tea's but since it's a mix of several liquors and just a splash of coke, you are probably going to hate it. Could always try a White Russian as well. When made right it almost tastes like a vanilla milkshake to me.

Yeah. It's Absinthe. I just tried it last night and it's great in my opinion. You're gonna have a bad time if you try and drink it straight but if made correctly in the glass that usually comes with Absente brand it's kinda sweet and tastes of fennel and anise.

What the fuck do you want? Rather, what is it that you aren't liking about what you are currently drinking? Is it taste? Do you want something sweet that gets you shitfaced?

For beer, try Dos Equis. Its not sweet, but its tasty, and if you want something with more of a full flavor, drink the amber version. For liquor, I have no idea, as I don't drink a lot of it. If you just want something sweet, drink some high-school teenager drinks, like skittles vodka or something.

Cosmopolitan (Cosmo) : vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice served in a Martini glass.
Thug Passion : Alize (cognac & vodka) & Champagne. Very fruity, if you don't like bubbles replace champagne with 7up.
Sinapore Sling : Gin, Cherry Heering, Bénédictine, and fresh pineapple juice.

These are all fruit drinks and mask the flavor of hard liquor.

Asahi beer (Japan)
Blue Moon Belgian White served with an orange. (American)
Rickard's Red (Canada)

Semi to light beers. Nothing too heavy unlike a guiness. Lol.

I went to like old chicago or some shit cuz we had my friend's teenage cousins with us and wanted to go play pool, they had some kind of not quite-long island iced tea, they called it something else iced tea... but yeah it tasted like gummy bears lol. I tried a long island after and theirs wasn't much different.

If you're just drinking with friends, Whiskey and Coke is pretty good. Vodka goes with everything if you're making your own drinks and can control the ratios.

Alternately: Take shots of whatever liquor you can most stand until you think Bud tastes amazing, and proceed to drink that.

I'm a huge fan of ales and my top two are 1554 and Dogfish Head Raison D'êtré. Dogfish Head will knock you on your ass if you drink it like a normal beer as it's 8%. Angry orchard is like a lesser Woodchuck.

Liquor? Screwdrivers with Crystal Head Vodka. You stick that stuff in the freezer, and you'll never even taste the alcohol when mixed with orange juice.

Rye+coke
Rye+ginger
Killer Kool Aid = Vodka+Melon Liquor+cranberry, these go down like water and I've never had a hangover after many nights slamming them

Shots:
Tequila (or gtfo really)
Sammy Haggards; Jaeger and sambuca
Sweedish Berries ; Banana liquor and that sour red booze.. sour puss? forget the name, common mix drink ingredients

Stay away from really sweet drinks or you'll feel like a sack of poop in the morning.

yeah, unless you're in like a real little dive serving their $2/gallon whiskey where a whiskey and coke is 90% whiskey 9% ice 1% coke, all the basics are generally pretty tasty...

whiskey and coke
rum and coke
7&7 (can be any light whiskey + 7up, sprite, whatever)
gin & tonic (imo still tastes like tree sap but meh a lot of people seem to like)
daiquiris, margaritas, pina colada, etc.
