    More Office 365 Junk

So been looking all over about this issue I had to assist on today. Client's both have macs with Outlook 2011, apparently this company migrated to Office 365 back in October and have been having issues since February or something from what they are reporting to me.

Only 1 person in the office is having this issue, his Outlook constantly keeps synching and updating to the server and his calendar entries keep making copies of themselves on a huge scale, some entries have copied themselves like 30 times or more. It's only a handful of calendar entries though, not all of them. There's an error 19126 but all I could find was some synch setting in preferences which is turned off already so that didn't work.

I told them to try using Outlook 2009 or w/e version was before '11 for Macs and see if it persisted there. Their IT guy set up Outlook on his mac at home, linked it to this guy's profile and had the same results so I know it's not just something with his laptop. Office 365 support was utter shit, had them delete calendar entries which caused his appointments to send out cancellations, fucking over his workweek which he was not too thrilled over.

Yeah outlook is fully updated which is why I was wondering if reverting to an earlier edition would change it. This only occurs on macs with Outlook 2011 though, on a windows PC this error doesn't happen but the guy refuses to not use his mac and refuses to use OWA to access his email/calendar.

Humm, I vaguely recall something similiar like this being a problem with apple devices running IOS 6.1.x. after apple did something to their code. The devices would go apeshit connecting to synch with Exchange servers leading to users blowing their datapackages in no time etc. Could potentially be related?

Do you know if the IT guy at their place installed the same version of Outlook that the user had, or if they used 2009 like you said?

Other IT guy used 2011 at home on his mac, the working outlook was running on Windows and using 2013 or 2010, cant remember which.

Really? Hmm, did they have a fix for it or just finally updated their OS?
