Unable to log into FF14 ARR main forums...

Every time i try and log in there at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums
i get:

Temporary Session is invalid. Please try again.


Was able to log in and post just fine on the beta forums.

No idea what the heck that even means nor can i find any solution to it.

I can log in just fine here. Odd.

Ah, I posted in the other thread regarding this problem, so I'll just copy it here.

I had this exact same problem. Are you based outside of the US? I'm from Singapore, and I've read about other Singaporeans having the same "Temporary session is invalid" problem. The workaround that worked for us is to access the forum using a US proxy. I used one from Washington D.C., and it allowed me to log in and register. After registration, the proxy is no longer needed to access the forums, so it seems like there's some kind of IP check for the first registration.

I hope it's not off-topic to ask, but can anyone recommend a simple, easy-to-use US-based proxy so I can just log into the forums? I won't use it for anything nefarious.

I once used Hotspot Shield but that fucked up my computer something awful and I'm not eager to repeat the experience.

Outside yes, but im in Canada (Quebec to be exact) barely 10 mins from US border lol. Can you post the link to your thread ? I'm on sattalite atm and i can't check from any other isp till i go mooch wireless at my parents for a weekend visit in a few weeks.

Still don't get why i was able to use the Beta forums just fine. And i cant even log in/register for the loadstone forums cus i have no active service account. Grumble. Cant add/make one untill we can use the unlock codes for FF14 ARR on the 27th. I only have my beta char.

I don't know any US proxy is sadly.

I used a Chrome proxy plugin called SwitchySharp and used the US proxy listed below. Source: free proxy list from some website that showed up on Google. Disclaimer: Use at your own risk, I am not responsible for lost/hacked accounts. I changed my passwords once before and twice after registering on the OF.

IP: 154.46.34.123
Port: 3128
Use same proxy for all protocols
