Trading Dungeon Gear for GC Seals

Howdy,

As per 1.0i can trade in Dungeon gear for GC seals. One thing i noticed last night however is that none of the 40+ Dungeon gear i have got is appearing in the list of gear to trade?

Iv been racking this stuff up from Amdapor Keep runs and using it but with the growing Tombstones iv been able to start kitting out in DL so now i want to trade the Dungeon gear to the GC for seals. Is it a case that im just not high enough rank to trade in the higher gear or just this gear cant be traded in? I cant NPC them so wanted to check before i chuck them away?

Clear out some of your lower level drops by turning them in or putting them in storage. You just have too much in your inventory for the Amdapor drops to list.

Anything extra needed to trade in dungeon gear for seals aside from the normal GC rank ups? Able to start trading after the first rank up?

It's a bit beyond the first rank up, maybe the fourth or so, if I'm recalling correctly from the beta and assuming it hasn't changed since P3.

Never heard of this. Forgive me for ignorant questions. I just hit the first rank of the second tier so I assume it's just beyond my grasp!

By "dungeon gear" do you mean gear green, pink, and above?

Will they tell me that I could begin to trade it in whent he options becomes? If not, which NPC should I look for?

I know you can turn in dungeon greens for sure, and I've heard but not personally verified dungeon pinks. The person you trade them to is the one behind the GC counter, on the far right (the same one that does supply/povisioning turn-ins). I don't recall exactly what it's called anymore, but I believe it's the 3rd option. You can always select it, and if you're not of the appropriate rank, they'll tell you.

Alright, neat.. It's "Expert Supply Quests" or something like that, and it's unlocked on the second rank of the second tier. Was wondering what the was. Thank ye!

You can turn in pink gear.

Tbh you're probably better off turning stuff into materia (that can be), seals are extremely easy to come by.

You can convert greens too afaik, but not all.

They really could have made the coloring system more purposeful/uniform.
