Sunken Temple Final Fight - 2 Casters

Looking for advice, on the Sunken Temple final fight, phase 4, with the 4 lazers.. is this just impossible with two casters as DPS? my brother and I were attempting this, going through perfectly smooth as BLM and SMN, including the final boss, all easy as cake, but phase 4 is just.. impossible. Next to 0 time to cast spells, and even if you do cast one you do negligable damage.

How are you guys wrapping up the final boss? Is it just a 'dont go with two casters' deal?

Casters are going to have a bad time on the final boss. I don't think it's impossible, it's just not fun and awful.
This is coming from a really good SMN. I can only assume that BLM have it worse.

I think the public opinion is "don't do it with 2 casters". At least have one non-caster. It's just not fun when you can't cast. Read below for the strategy for two casters from Ferey.

I ran this a bunch with two SMNs. The box lasers were the only really annoying part. SMN can Bio/Energy Drain/Command the pet to attack lasers while moving easily. I was also able to cast a spell and run easily enough, while it's charging, move and start casting, you'll be fine before the next laser set. BLM also has Scathe to cast while running.

The healer can help as well. I've run Qarn at least 10-12 times this past week on my Scholar and had no problem jumping into the barrier to help assist killing the scepters with my Ruin spell. White Mage can cast Aero and Stone II.

I just drug the boss around with me and killed some of those staves on my own as a PLD which is probably why I don't recall any problems running it with multiple casters and I ran it quite a bit leveling up.

This, just have the tank damage one or several tower and gang up with the other ranged dps on a tower. Tanks can solo towers.

I also did this. Honestly there should be no reason why your tank shouldn't be attacking the towers.
