Unspoiled Mining Point Question

Are out-of-reach items static in the menus? If so, does anyone have a list? Tried Googling it but haven't had success.

Just gained the ability to harvest from unspoiled points and the three times I hit the same node Gold Ore was in the same spot.

also, you can click any of the spots and it wont do anything unless there is actually an item there (in which case itll reveal what it is) so you dont really need to rely on the lvl 50 abilities

That's actually a glitch I've had happen as well under severe server lag. If you click on a spot that's blank, the 'out of reach' bar should drop all the way in one hit and revealing nothing, wasting one of your turns.

If you don't know where anything is on the list, you're not 50 yet, and you click a spot and the bar drops but not all the way, you've got something under there so keep at it.

If you're 50, have semi-respectable stats, and know where the items you seek are located, then the Toil-of ability is an utter waste of GP.

thats interesting then...happened consistently for me for quite a few unspoiled node attempts in a row when figuring out all the item spots for mining/botany
Havent tried it since then because I wrote down all the spots as well as memorized the ones I usually harvest consistently
guess I'll have to try it out later and see if it doesnt work...unless I just have constant severe server lag \o/

They patched it, wasn't a lag thing.

It wasn't consistent for me, it was only happening to me in Coerthas when it was congested to hell.

Either way, it doesn't happen to me anymore, which is largely irrelevant since no one should be taking blind swings at the slots unless they're just really lazy.

False if I don't use it my first chop is wasted to remove the " out of reach"

Yes? But then you have 300 GP to use on other stuff after bringing it into reach
