What are some tips and strategies for getting clear on floor 100? I keep failing every run I do.

Ignoring the troll above, a general setup should look like SCH/RDM, DD, DD, DD, DD, BRD/WHM.

It's just like old Nyzul, but it has a 30 minute limit to hit floor 100. Be fast and efficient with your group. Really reccomend you getting on some type of voice chat to coordinate your runs.

voice chat is not needed. just dont be discouraged from your first 1-2 weeks of trying, the more you try the better you and your pt gets the hangoff and the better rhe coordination is. i would recommend setting the stoper first on floor 80, with 5 KIs you can get 100 gear. once you hit and clear 80 consistently wirh about 5 min left expand the stopper to floor 100

This. One thing that my groups have done is pair the DDs into two groups. One group is designated to north & west routes on floor-up, the other south & east. Preferably have the sch run with the DD duo that's not as self-proficient, although with modern SoA gear having evasion out the ass, and NNI being nerfed multiple times, might not even be needed.

The less that's needed to be said during the run (besides calling out deadends, or lamp hit), the smoother things should go.

I just won floor 100 tonight and got my Thaumas Coat, thanks all for the advice. I really think its luck dependent jumping floors and if you don't let the lamps hold you up then you should be able to make it to floor 100 with 3-5 minutes to spare.

The luck factor got reduced thanks to the nerfs to NNI and to the SoA gear which really helps on some floor.
But in the end yeah, it's still an event where Luck plays a really big part and can fuck you up. Sometimes it feels like game wants to play an iWin card with your group >.>

Did 4 runs yesterday with LS folks, and found it was infinitely easier to coordinate running low numbers. Also, the LS has about 4 active members now!

    Setup was:

    DRG/??? (Upu)
    SAM/DNC
    MNK/DNC (Oat)
    BLU/SCH (Bur)

Went 2/4 (floor 100). Lost first one since we failed to properly instruct the MNK who apparently had no NNI experience (but we assumed that wasn't the case before going in). Lost second one due to shitty jumps and MNK d/cing at some point.

3rd run was really smooth; had a death on 4th run due to shitty lamp placement + suzaku in same room, but still managed to win with some time left.

BLU subbed /SCH for shell (lol), and in case any -nas or raise were needed at any point.

Nothing new, but it's pretty clear that luck plays a huge factor in this.

If your DD can equip them consider powder boot spam. It will shave a minute or two off the run time which can be the difference between a win and a loss.

Yeah, I knew about the powder boots and also hermes sandals. I'm done with NNI for now though since I got Thaumas Coat, also got the hat but its not very good. If it had haste on it then it would be pretty awesome.
