Transfer PS3 saves via usb

Is this possible? I tried checking on the net, some sites said yes, some said no, and the ones that said yes made it sound pretty complex.

Quick answer because on my phone but the device you want to copy to has to be formatted to FAT32 which is a gigantic pain in the ass to do. You'd be better off paying for a month of PSN+ and backing it all up via cloud.

Most/all usb flash drives are shipped as fat32, and even if they weren't, it takes 5 seconds to reformat, if you don't need to back up what's on it, if anything.

Just go to your saves, select the one you want, and copy it over. It's pretty straight forward.

If you hit triangle in the game save list on PS3, there'll be a Copy Multiple option. Insert a FAT32-formated stick, open that copy menu, and hit select all. It'll copy everything over that isn't marked copy-protected, which the only solution for backing those up is either PS+, or a full hard drive backup.
