demo was really fun, love criterion racing games
Seems it will have scenery similar to the first one, which I played to death, mainly because the soundtrack was amazing, might give it a spin.
demo was fun, but don't think i'll be paying for the full game
demo on xbl or psn or both?
both
Having a ton of fun with this game, but is there no online multiplayer in the demo? In the EA press release it said they were going to have online MP but when I go over online Hot Pursuit it's locked out.
Need a friend to play the multiplayer on the demo.
My friend and I were both logged into the demo at the same time and we're on each other's XBL friend's list (obviously). Does it take something more than that? Whenever I would hit Add a Friend in the menu thing it wouldn't let me do anything so I just assumed it my friends were based off my buddy list on my Xbox.
Was playing Paradise when someone mentioned the demo was out. DL and installed, waited through what seemed like 10 mins of can't-skip bs to finally play... a set-course timed blah blah blah same old racing game that only stands out for how terrible the cars handle compared to the creator's last title...
btw, there is a hot pursuit mode in Paradise that is basically the exact same game without the weapons.

No cockpit view like in shift but overall it looks really good.
Will wait too see more reviews. Looking promising game so far.
Love the fact that theres a burnout developer involved.
yay post count spammer.
Overhyped and releasing just a few days AFTER the most anticipated racing game in history announced a release date just another week or two away. I wonder how many preorders canceled and how many others just changed their minds about getting this game.
EA has gotta be mad about that GT release date announcement timing, especially after they have spent so many millions on ads(like the one with the two guys from entourage as valets).
I've actually been playing Burnout Paradise to sort of practice for GT5, though I know the physics aren't even close to what they are in GT5, but meh.
As far as EA being pissed.. I wouldn't doubt it. That's gotta really sting with the way the rug got pulled out on them.
For anyone interested, this is the first 14 minutes of gameplay in the game.

And speaking of GT5, just looked at how many cars is gonna be in it and holy fuck it's a lot
A lot of the cars in GT5 are clones anyway, just add on another year to them. Then again, to real car lovers, I'm sure they could actually tell a difference.
<---- But I don't think I could tell the difference between most of the 50 something different Skylines they felt the need to include. >.> Mostly just the generation changes.
Also nice find, I'll watch it because I'm bored and I've been biting my nails waiting for Tuesday to come around.
edit: As it turns out, the guy has several videos on his channel of gameplay. I don't think I'll be disappointed at all picking this up. It looks even more fun than the demo and the demo was pretty damn fun! I need more xbox friends buying this game!
