I never got to play 3 cause its tied to a system I will likely never own, so I'll likely never play 4... It's a shame, I really loved 1 and 2. Wish they'd port these to at least PC.

It's looking pretty decent for a game that isn't officially announced. Which is good, original Dead Rising is an all-time top 10 game for me. If it turns out awful I'll be spitting Welt levels of salt at Capcom for a long time.

So, some stuff I noticed from that.

+Timers are still there
+Seems to have 3 separate inventories with separate space limits in each; guns/melee/thrown (possibly a healing item inventory, too)
+Can actually see weapon stamina as it progresses rather than the binary good/about to break system
+Holy shit how do they have the body count and particle effects they have without a massive framerate drop? (probably running on PC or scorpio prototypes?)
-Exosuits and vehicles seem too common, enough that they can have their own dedicated portion of the UI
-Probably just a demo thing, but the crafted weapons also seemed too common; I only saw a non-crafted weapon a handful of times.
-Again, probably just a demo thing, but WAAAAAY too much health for a low level character
-I'm really not liking this incarnation of Frank, honestly would've preferred they did their own character.
-Very dreary color palette

Despite what the devs said, they're definitely taking more notes from DR3 than 1. Which is okay, and still has the potential to make a good game, but is a bit disappointing to me. Hopefully, given Capcom's boner for HD ports recently, they'll give us one of original Dead Rising. I would kill to be able to play it again.

The demo they had on the Xbox stream a bit ago was almost definitely running on an Xbox One (it crashed once and they had to go into the Dashboard to close it). They also said they'd toned down enemies/toned up Frank for the demo to make it more fun for people at the booth.

Edit: They also showed a brief clip of a new combo vehicle. An electrified bumper car. I'm sold.
