Lindsey Vonn is skiing on a ruptured ACL which happened at a World Cup race before the Olympics. She completed a second training run today and is scheduled to compete in the women's downhill tomorrow.

Well the worst has happened for Lindsey Vonn.

Horrific crash just seconds into her run. She was going all out after the start and after going around a gate somehow caught big air and landed awkwardly on both legs and tumbled over and over. When they got to her you could hear her yelling out in pain. They had to air lift her out with max precautions. There was a course hold for like 20 minutes. I felt sick to my stomach.

Yes, she was beating everyone else pretty solidly. This was a freak accident. Apparently she clipped the flag and it rotated her during the lift so she lost balance and control. That landing was fucking awful to watch.
