i'm a little worried of too many spin-offs spiralling into mediocrity but Ackles and Cash gave us two of the most compelling characters to ever pop up in The Boys sooo

always down for more aya cash but yeah, spinoffs are gonna spiral outta control real fast

The brazen political satire oozing out of The Boys is basically the second biggest plot point of The Boys, and is part of the shows charm for me. are they going to try and bring that into a 1950's setting or just go a completely different route with the shows writing? idk if more "shock value gore but 1950's" is going to work for me, its kinda wearing thin in The Boys after season 4 too and Season 4 felt like the writers kinda lost the plot so to speak with chasing the next big gore/shock high.

That said, Soldier Boy was an amazing character, but I'm also worried maybe he was good in the setting and a show focused entirely on him might uh, cheapen it I guess? Though their other Spin-Off series did good so maybe this one will too. I'm cautious, but The Boys is a good show, and Soldier Boy was a great characters, so I'm not saying no, I just hope they do it well
