So it’s monster hunter adjacent? I’m interested.
Yea, as a big fan of Aloy and the Horizon series, I’m gonna say no thanks…

The Mobile game looks closer to the og. This just looks like a horrible decision.
Looks nice, but "Hard, Skill Based" progression game isn't gonna hit big. Expect it to be a lot easier come release, due to that feedback, or it will just fold soon after launch.
Wonder how much more successful something like this would be if it were just DLC for Horizon 2 or even baked into 3 (whenever it lands) like Tsushima did with it's Legends mode.
Probably not very well. They aren't the same genre of games; just the same setting, so nothing can be used in the other, even mechanically.
They already have an established audience, why the turn to Fortnite style visuals and a hero system? Just make Horizon:MonHon Edition bro-op w/ create-a-character. Christ, it would have been cheaper too since you could reuse a lot of what was already built for Forbidden West engine+asset-wise.
Tsushima was different since Legends was also offered standalone, and free on launch for PS+ users (which you needed to play it online anyways). That said Legends was pretty fucking fun and I liked it more than the core game.
From what's available the Lego Horizon game sold as well as Concord, but that game was also given away for "free" with PS+.
The concept of this game seems fine, but that art style is such an eyesore.
Would rather just have another Horizon game then this slop...this reeks of "We had a game idea and concept but no one would use it until we stamped on a known franchise title to it".
I was keeping it to games, but if we add in other media. Willow (2022) is not a Willow sequel/property.
It is a dramatization of a random Dungeons & Dragons campaign, where one of the players made their character a Willow expy.
