I bitched about it on the Discord already, but if I wanted to make Deus Ex uglier on PC, there's always the Revision mod. If I want to play it on a PS4/PS5, there's the PS2 version available via PSN with a stable framerate and near instant load times (two issues that PS2 original hardware had).

I don't think you could do anything other than a faithful full-on remake with how old the game is. Prettying up the visuals only makes it clash harder against some of the jank it has with the dumb AI, or its limited set of animations.
