Their preview events are scheduled up through June so I kinda doubt they're launching it before July.

def, launching before the world-wide previews are over is improbable. but time is a flat circle and more interested in what's coming down the software pipe for launch. with the Steam Deck and its ilk there's little reason for vidya enthusiasts (which we all are nay) to be super stoked about, say, RDR2 being portable. gimme some sweet first party magic now that you have horsepower from this decade Nintendo.

Ya I rarely ever buy consoles at launch. Actually I can't think of a single time I ever did that. Will have to see what the lineup looks like and when that stuff is out.

Unless of course they release a new super smash at launch but they usually don't do that

Expect many AAA ports, like REmake, VII Remake, RDR2 at or close to launch.

Hell expect almost everything from PS4/PS5 era eventually getting ported.

This thing will be scalped to hell and back. None of us are getting a launch S2. Even then, remember to add +25% in tariffs to the cost. I'll definitely get one eventually like I always do. I'd love it if modders can find a way to load emulators on it somehow.

Many gaming studios seem to have an NDA with Nintendo that expires on March 31st. This also makes me think this teaser was half assed at the last minute because of all the leaks.
