Come back home from work, pop open PoL, does its update thingy, reboots, then gives me that and wont start.

Is there a fix or will i need re-install PoL ?

You need to uninstall PlayOnline and remove ALL the .dll files, then install FFXI again. That should fix it.

You dont need to un-install FFXI nor re-install it due to a PoL re-install, i'v done it many times before.

no, it's just POL reinstall.

I had this happen before, it's just POL reinstall. But if you don't believe me just call their support center and ask.

found cd, re-installed, works, am in game, can close/delete thread.
