Just a heads up to anyone out there looking to buy a new system, CompUSA is going out of business and their entire store is 15-30% off right now. They don't have their game systems out on display, but if you just go ask someone who is working there if they have any PS3's or XBOX 360's (I think the have PSPs and DS's too), if your closing store is anything like mine they will have a bunch because nobody knows they have them because their whole stock is in the back.

I went in today and snagged a 80GB PS3 for 15% off of $500 or a sweet $75 off! they also have 20% off their entire stock of games for just about every system, and on top of that for those that are interested in a PS3 you can go to your ebgames/gamestop and grab a 5 free bluray disc coupon or you can print one here:

Just giving a heads up to those that are interested in saving a nice bundle of money on a new system. Just make sure you ask someone who looks like they know what they are doing. I asked a kid who was working there (looks like he was hired only for their going out of business sale) for a PS3 and he said they didn't have any, when I was told just a few hours before that they had like 100 in the back by a guy who looked to be a manager. So i went and asked someone a bit more worth their salt and got one no problem.

The way I read it was that of all the consoles made, 15% are at/from compUSA. That really didn't seem news worthy though.

I actually just went out and got the 80gb PS3 for 425$. I love delaware and tax free shopping! I think if they're still dumping inventory in the next few days, I'm gonna be getting a new TV as well.

yea cause a general goods store single handedly drove out a computer/electronics store. If anyone pushed compusa out of business, it's circuit city, best buy, fry's.

seriously though, that company was so mishandled after they pushed computer city out of business (at least on the west coast) that i'm amazed it took this long for them to go out.
