It's just music I mean I can understand if the "inappropriate music" was made after September 11th and it has "questionable lyrics" but songs made before shouldn't have been affected since I mean it was made before September 11th and no one knew it was coming (Unless you believe it was an elaborate scheme by the government) so no one could have kept those lyrics from happening...

L-O-L. That is beyond ridiculous. Rage Against the Machine is pretty outrageous too, considering the lyrics were typically about political issues. Seems like the government just used 9-11 as an excuse to ban all songs/bands that don't favor the American "democracy."

They listed 4 good Metallica songs which I guess if you think about it would have some revelence to 9/11, but they left out The God That Failed (guess they didn't wanna have any "One Nation under God" arguments).

Queen - Killer Queen. Just plain dumb to list it.

Of all the Slipknot songs to choose from, they chose the two that have the least to do with 9/11.

In reference to an above poster this wasn't the government imposing some sort of list.

It is just a list of songs clearchannel didn't want aired because it might be seen as insensitive toward the situation.

If the song was not on any single clearchannel station playlist anyway, than it would not of been banned which is why that song is not on the list.
