Shooter and Hot Fuzz look pretty good, saw previews at Smokin Aces. Hot Fuzz = automatic win because it's made by the guys who did Shaun of the Dead.

I didnt like Spiderman 1 or 2 much, they were alright, but only worth one watch for me. 3 looks good just because of the symbiot.

Am I the only one who thinks Spider Man 3 is going to suck ass? The way they're writing in Sandman (as Uncle Ben's "real killer") alone peeves off my nerd energies. It looks to me like they're trying to put too much into one glass from the previews.

It looks like it's going to be a mile a minute because there's no way a movie with 3 villains (althoguh one is definitely not doing jack) is going to be anything but. I think it sort of takes away the WHOLE reason peter even becomes spidey but whatever, I'm hyped.

I really think Spiderman 3 will be mainly about Peter dealing with the Symbiote and his (ex) best friend. Sandman will be sorta like "Oh hey, I'm here and we're gunna fight and stuff), and Venom will probably be a cliffhanger for another movie.

Edit: After reading the above post, I really don't see the need to bring Eddie Brock and the symbiote into the picture if this is both Kirsten and Tobey's last Spiderman, there is no need/way to pack all of it into one movie.

Tobey Maguire & Kirsten Dunst have went on record saying this will be their last Spiderman film. Tobey said that he wants to spend more time with his daughter and Kirsten said she would quit if he did and she wasn't the type to keep doing sequels to the same movie over and over no matter what.

Spiderman 3 is the last movie they are both contracted for, and Tobey even went so far as to say that if they came up with a script he wouldn't be completely closed to the idea, but more than likely the odds that will never happen.

Given all that, I think maybe it's good they pack Spiderman 3 full of stuff. If they keep going on with the franchise with a different Spiderman, it would kind of suck. I know I personally hate when studios do that.

aside from the movies already listed there's Hannible Rising, Grindhouse (a "Double Feature" from Quintin Terintino the movies are Planet Terror and Death Proof,) The Number 23, Pirates of the Carribean 3, Harry Potter 5, Ghost Rider, Shrek 3, and the one I'm personally looking forward to the most, Blades of Glory.

Spiderman movies have too much emo Peter and not enough cocky Spiderman. They like totally ripped out the best thing about Spiderman. The movies are pretty decent anyway, but too bad it seems 3 will be the last.

I had a similar gripe about Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, but that turned out pretty decent in the end.
