That's gotta be annoying. If I was in that position I know I wouldn't be going on tv for one thing.
Where do you get those "Civil War" sigs at?
Man I was in New York City for the first time ever this past December and I was hiccupping for what seemed like 6 hours straight. My mom just kept laughing at me, and all the people in the stores were likeafter a while. Ugh@!!1
No more than 1 minute...I just grab a bottle of water and drink it all. Problem solved.
EDIT: Why are they so frequent though? lmao. even when I do, it's not every single second..
Hiccuping is SERIOUS business.

LOUD NOISES
I saw this report on TV a while ago where a middle-aged man hiccuped for a couple years straight until they fixed it by surgically putting some machine into him to stop it.

Might've been this guy.
1 minute for me.... but water doesn't help me. I cure myself through acu-pressure. I read it in a book when I was 12.. ^^
Basically it's a very odd technique, but it always seems to work for me.... almost instantly.
- Take one of your hands, and place it in front of your face, with the center of your palm touching your nose.[/*:m:742be]
- Then basically rub your nose in a circular fashion for 30 seconds (count to 30.)[/*:m:742be]
- After the time is up, then cup your hands over your nose (make a caret ^ shape with the tips of your fingers touching.)[/*:m:742be]
- Breathe normally through your nose and mouth for 10 seconds or so.[/*:m:742be]
- If you continue to hiccup, repeat 1-4 again.[/*:m:742be]
- It's usually guaranteed after the first time, but it can take upto 3-4 cycles (maybe you're not doing it right!)[/*:m:742be]
The preceding has seriously always worked for me after 1-2 cycles, maybe I should put in this suggestion to the news....^^;
I usually try to time a burp when I feel a hiccup coming on. So they come out at the same time, that usually fixes it for me. ;3
I've tried that one long time ago several times, didn't work for me.. or I didn't do it right.Originally Posted by Intense

I wonder if she'll really read all of them. @_@
Yea I saw that crap this morning, crazy. That would suck so bad having to go to school and wherever else with them all the time.
I honestly cannot remember the last time I hiccuped. I don't think I have for the last 5 years or so at least.
I physically can't hiccupWhat happens is my throat tightens up when it's time to hiccup, I make a really loud noise, I stop breathing for 2 seconds, and then that's the end of that. Once and only once, and it'll come every now and then during hiccup time.
No Idea why I can't, as a kid i'd be able to, lol.
Attention whore.
i almost died hiccuping before but they werent really hiccups so i guess it doesnt count
Wow that's annoying. Anyone else wanted to just reach through the monitor and slap the girl to see if that'd fix them?
A guy in my linkshell has had the hiccups for about a week now according to him.
I call hiccup epidemic.
