    PS1: Buying Online

Does anyone know where I can buy PS1 games, legit online? I have a friend who mentioned he had a PS1 but only played FF8, so I want to buy and send him FF7 and 9, two of my favorites. Sadly however, gamestop.com doesn't have PS games it seems, and I don't want to buy them at a store and have to buy a box and do all that junk just to send them, I'd rather buy online and just give his address as the shipping method. Any suggestions?

FF7 is a common enough ps1 game you could probably find it in the used bin at local gamestores.

I know my ebgames has a massive used section, and I've seen it there.

Your eb still does? Every gamestop and ebgames around here seems to have ditched everything pre-ps2. Used to have an entire wall of ps1 games but they're all gone ever since the wii and ps3 came out ~_~

Yup we quit selling PS1 games in most stores for about a year now. Im surpised @ the FF7 prices now. For awhile we always had 1-2 copies on a regular basis and sold it for 17.99ish. Then rightt before we quit selling them it shot up to about 35 IRCC. Now 45$ on ebay? Why the price hike? Didn't they make it a Greatest hits?

I bought a greatest hits version of PSX FF7 about a year ago, NEW mind you, for 50 bucks.

I dunno what all the fuss over it is about... it's not that rare.

An unopened factory sealed FF7 (Not greatest hits) would go for about $150+

But why would you need it other than having it in a collection? in which case you probably wouldn't open it either.

If you want to play FF7, just go to ebay and you will get like a thousand results for new, unopened greatest hits.

Ah Amazon, didn't even think of that, thanks.

I don't like eBay, too much shady shit goes on there. I don't feel safe buying things from eBay, can't people make fake bids and pretty much ruin the whole bidding system?

The rare FF7s that people try to find is the non-GH version. That usually goes for about 60-70.

Thats why they have feedback on Ebay.

You should buy things from sellers with thousands and thousands of successful transactions.

    Or try to at least..

Lucky you. My EB Games doesn't carry anything older than PS2 anymore. They ditched the small SNES and PS1 sections. Even used games only go back a few years for PS2. It's fucking depressing.
