    Anyone there or hear some good things? http://www.gdconf.com/

    Ive seen a lot of new things for Zelda and FFs mainly, some of the keynotes that were given were really good too.

    anyone have any videos of them. I cant really find any videos of the developers or keynotes.

    What is this, like a 3rd rate conference for Video games or something?

    Since they scaled down E3 to just the conference and no longer have the trade show, GDC is now the largest video game conference in this country. Though unlike E3 which was all about hyping games to retailers, GDC is focused on the game developers.

    The downstairs expo is all booths devoted to development tools, there was a wacom booth, various booths about sound capture, several mocap booths, audodesk and xsi had booths as well. upstairs are game company booths and interview rooms for people looking for jobs. I havent spent much time on the expo floors but I went to the Sony keynote speech yesterday and the Miyamoto(nintendo) keynote speech this morning and it was very interesting. The sony presentation was mainly to showcase Home and Little big world. Miyamoto focused on his theories behind good game design and how his philosophies have led him to design games such as nintendogs, animalcrossing, and then he showed the demo video from Mario Galaxy.

    I am going back tommorow to look around the expo floor I will post again if I see anything amazing. Chances are it is already on the internet though.
