Help! Headaches!

Ok so I cannot sleep... I have had a headache for the last 2 days non stop. Here is what I have tried:

2 asprin every 4 hours
Sleeping it off
Turning off all the lights and sleeping it off
Shower
Back Rub (Against wall?)

Ugh... I don't know what to try or how to get rid of it... Please help bg!

I almost never get headaches. I got one the other day because I was wearing my headphones all day and they're too tight. Wow, I was almost as unhelpful as Mysterio, huh?

And the alcohol comment is actually advice, provided you lay off the aspirin for awhile before hand and during, lol.

One beer or even 2 really calms me down if I want to go to sleep.

Get a washcloth wet and throw it in the freezer. Let it freeze and put it on over your eyes and lay down. May help

It helps when I rub my temples from time to time but I dont know of a great cure all. I got a wicked headache in college last semester that drove me to tears. I just sat there rubbing my temples and it eventually went away.

I've dealt with headaches and migraines all of my life. Here's what I would suggest. First, take some sleeping pills. Then, get a cold and wet washcloth, fold it and put it on your forehead. Lay down on your back with the lights off in a comfy area free of any noise if possible. Don't concentrate on the pain of your headache, just try not to even think.. eventually you'll fall asleep with the help of the pills.

When you wake up, if you still have a headache, take some Excedrin. If that doesn't work.. I don't know what will, lol.. just going to have to tough it out, also.. throwing up helps if it's really severe (for me ^^)..

Btw when I get headaches I just tough them out, if you're getting headaches constantly though something is wrong, and if they aren't just on Fridays or after a big stress relief, you should have yourself checked.

stress can also be the cause of alot of migranes, try to get rid of anything stressful.

What you might be experincing could be cluster headaches.
From what I've heard from a relative that has them, its sort of a bodily addiction to acedaminaphine (tylonal) Your body wants it and so it goes into the process of getting you to take it.

My roomate says she gets them due to stress also increasing your water intake and eliminating caffine / niccotine (if you smoke) will help as well.

change your diet, you may not be eating well.
try to get adequate amounts of sleep, at the same time every day
are you female? could be hormones. it could be stress related, it could be your vision as someone said earlier(i.e the wrong type of lens or you may need glasses). It could be any number of things, but medicine should be the last option for you. If you must, and you arent allergic to anything, try tylenol, or aleve. If it keeps up, talk to your doctor, he'll probably give you some ativan or something.
btw what strength aspirin did you take, 325's?

A constant headache could be the sign of many many problems, such as a sinus infection, virus, etc.

Your best bet is to go see a doctor immediately. There's many problems out there that can kill us within months, but if you catch stuff early you can be cured of almost anything.

Go see a physician. They have 12 years of schooling. They are smart and can help you. And that way you can at least know you aren't dying.

Your headache is caused by the excess pressure in your wallet or back account from extra cash you may have even if it is only a few dollars. A doctor can remedy this easily.

Whine much? Yea, doctors are expensive. That's cause this is your life, you get one chance at it, and they can help prolong it or make it more comfortable. And they still get paid less than celebrities and pro athletes.

If your money is more valuable to you then your health, then so be it. I'll gladly spend that money every time.
