About repeating AFv1

I want to get my WHM AFv1 mitts back because I got AFv1+1 of them. I got WHM quest erasted by accepting the NPC in Lower Jeuno to charge me 10k Gil. I do not have any other AF quests active, but the NPC in Upper Jeuno (Guslam?) now do not want to give me the WHM AFv1 mitts quest again. He just tell me that it was good of me completing the quest... Do I have to do the WHM AFv1 shoes quest first? And how is it possible since I already have the normal AFv1 shoes? Hope someone who did this can help me out...

4. Get Coffer key
5. Get Old Gauntlets from coffer
6. Clicky box in Port Jeuno
7. Dark Spark dies

Have to toss weapon ONLY before you finish the quest by going back to sandy and getting a new one. Do not need to toss anything to erase memories, restart quest, or go beat up on the shadow in the dunes.

As far as the rest of your AF, normally the best way to do this is to leave the full set with the storage NPC. Presumably as a 75WHM you don't normally use AF1 at all anyway.

Then, you do AF1, open feet (only open to where you see the quest in your log), chat with Guslam (on WHM), get yer coffer, kill spark, come back to the ghost in port and get your new Hands, you can run right to the NPC with your Limbus items etc and turn them all all. You can do this entirely solo on WHM/NIN.

You've already got the new ones, but bear this in mind for future quests you don't have to take the stuff out of storage to do the upgrades - just get the replacement piece first.

Um, quick question, I need some factual confirmation:

Is it true you can only repeat the Artifact quests once? I'd like to get AF+1 Gloves now, but I wouldn't mind having a full set of NQ and HQ in the distant future.

Very strange way to do this I would say. I want to quest mitts, not weapong and other shit. Also Wiki did not say a shit about this have been mantioned thats why I asked.
