    Photoshop questions/help >_>

Ok, so I am currently designing the website for my School's art club. As of right now, I am working on the logo. But I'm having trouble making it nice and neat in photoshop.

This is what I have so far:

Any help with tutorials or with the picture itself would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

my advice would be to go over the outline with black, you can do this easily with a tablet, failing that, just use the pen tool and stroke the paths with a black brush. Colours are fine, although it might need a bit more saturation.

Yeah, I think the pen tool would be most efficient for this. I was gonna suggest using Illustrator, but I forgot that PS has the pen tool also heh.

I agree... it's a good design, and I like the overall composition, however the image is a bit washed-out. Definitely needs a bit more saturation.

A quick an easy way to saturate it.

Duplicate the original layer, set the 2nd layer (now above the orginal) to Overlay type.
Drop the Fill % of the Overlay down to minimize a bit of the OVER saturation.
Goto Image > Adjustments > Levels, and pull the right black levels up a bit, pulling the left slider towards the right.

That will take about 5-8 seconds.

Another suggestion, after this, you can do a Selection > Color Range, grab your blackest black and then with this selection, right click it with a Selection Tool, choose Layer Via Copy, and make that layer an Overlay as well.

That should further darken your lines.

Just a few suggestions off the top of my head.

I think what is really keeping this from looking clean is the grayness of the lines really. Like most have said, 'ink' those in a bit and it would greatly clean it up overall.

    Nice image btw.
