Anyone watch it Monday? I only caught the first 30mins or so and I cant find a torrent for the English version. All I can find are Japanese Audio and English Subtitles. Anyone know where a torrent can be found?

It's being released here in the states on July 3'rd by Manga, so you can probably get it after then if your not going to buy it. And for the better anyway, they showed 4:3 aspect ratio and censored it.![]()
Did Adult Swim air it? Would've thought they'd promote it a bit more, particularly on Saturday night since that's like the only time I watch them now since their comedy shows are garbage and weekdays are just rerun fodder.
Then again, after the April Fools stunt, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're covertly trying to run anime into the ground through a lack of advertising, worthwhile acquisitions, and extreme censorship to piss off the purists.
What? I never even heard about this at all if it was on Adult Swim. o_O
It was on Sci-fi.
Oh, that's why. I never watch that channel lol.
They put a 16:9 into a 4:3 style, bleh.
Though, looking at what they're showing next, it looks like the best has passed already.
oh.. so thats why it looked fucked up...
they are doing programming called "Ani-monday"
every monday at 11 cst, some anime movie..
Nice.
I first got into anime a really long time ago when they played anime on sci-fi and then it just stopped so I stopped watching that channel. Maybe I will watch it again.

BoxTorrents is pretty good at finding stuff like this. I wasn't sure if it was the one listed as OVA or the one listed as movie. Now does this take place in the movie continuity or the series continuity? The synopsis on ANN mentioned puppetmaster, but it has the name stand alone complex in the title.
Solid State Society occurs after 2nd GIG.Originally Posted by Charla

Apparently there are movies for the ending of Laughing man and 2nd gig besides this movie. Each movie sums up the events or something.
I've not seen anything like that and I'm pretty well versed in Ghost in the Shell. >.>;Originally Posted by arlania

Was under the impression that the SAC timeline was just conducted in a parallel universe of sorts where the Puppetmaster stuff just didn't happen. Given the circumstances of the movies, I could see SSS falling in place like that, but I really need to re-watch SSS once it's released on DVD to acquaint myself with all the little details again since it's been about 6 months.
That timeline would make sense, although I also always heard that SAC was an alternate continuity. And of course it's all a little different from the manga anyway.
