What do you fear?

So I was at the eye doctor today, and we were conversing about random things while he poked my eyes, when he mentioned that he saw a name for a fear of Friday the 13th. Trixkadeka-whatever-phobia. Well just got bored at work and decided to try and find a list of all the known phobias (check link below), and some of them are just freaky and others just make me laugh so hard. Just had to share. Enjoy.

Some of my favorites.

Allodoxaphobia- Fear of opinions.

Think I suffer from this one every once and awhile. Or is that just other peoples opinions

Eurotophobia- Fear of female genitalia.

If you're a man, you ain't passing on your genes. If you're a woman, God help you...

Gnosiophobia- Fear of knowledge.

Looks like I know quite a few people with this problem.

Japanophobia- Fear of Japanese.

FFXI Would freak these people to death.

Melophobia- Fear or hatred of music.

This makes me sad

Optophobia- Fear of opening one's eyes.

I don't know what to say...

Well, honestly what are you looking for as far as 'fear' because, there's a few things that would freak the living hell out of me, like a horde of invading zombies or something. Although I don't really think there's anything I fear that would be outside the ordinary. I'd say death, but ya know i'm pretty content with my life, i think i'd have to say I fear a painful death, lol.

I have this unhealthy fear of dying... not like, "I'm afraid to go outside because something might happen to me." fear, just the thought of not being alive that terrifies me.

Even so, if people can be afraid of Balloons and Pickles, then many of these don't seem like such a long shot when compared.

Of course its probably more realistic to say that neither of those phobias exists and Maury Povich is just full of shit and will do anything for the ratings.

lol, I was playing FF the other day and I felt this tickle on my foot (no socks ya know carpet ftw) and I look down and this spider is crawling over my foot. I proceded to ninja-kick it against the wall, then threw that SOB in the toilet & flushed it :3
