    For Graphic Design BG'ers

    I am out of the office for work and I have no access to Photoshop or another program that I could quickly use to make a logo look more crisp.

    I used Microsoft Word to create a logo for a company that doesn't exist, in all of 3 minutes. If anyone has 5 minutes to spare with experience in Graphic Design, would you like to give this simple idea a makeover? It is only text, nothing complicated.

    If you are interested let me know. I can't save and host the image on my iPad -- or do not know how too. I can e-mail it.

    Photoshop CS2 is freeware from Adobe now.

    No it's not. Adobe shut down activation servers for it, and made an activation-free version of it available for those who had actually purchased it.


    For the stated purpose though, Inkscape would likely work, and is free.

    No they have the free version (or at least had) available for download for everyone on their website. CS2 was released to everyone.

    No it wasn't.

    It was something people could find to download, but the intent was not that it's old so it's free now, as was posted all over the internet at the time. Some of the announcements actually updated to post that (such as Forbes), others didn't.

    Use GIMP if you just want a raster based image.

    I don't own cs2 and I never have. When they made the announcement I went to their website and downloaded it... and it works great. I am not sure what your link has to do with anything that I said.

    The stuff I linked is Adobe sources stating the same thing I did. That it was not intended as a free product for all. I don't disagree that it was easily available and works fine. I own CS2, and downloaded that version so I could still install it. I'm just saying it is not authorized use.

    Yeah I honestly don't remember that much. It happened a while ago. You may very well be right. My experience of it differs from that though that is all I was saying. Whether or not they intended it to be a free for all they did not take down the full download of cs2 from their website but they did disable all licensing for it so you can just install and go.

    Thank you all. Sorry I did not respond, I was away from my desk and my phone had no service over the weekend in Atlantic City. I'll give it a try on GIMP and I will send image to you through PM Ganondorf.
