Nullifying requests to enhance relic equipment?

In the last patch, there was a line that probably meant very little to most people:

"Requests to enhance relic equipment can now be nullified."

I was hoping that this meant that you can undo AF2+1 upgrades in order to use the pieces to store in the NPC storage, but I have not had any luck in finding out how to do this, if it was the purpose. However, when the patch came out, I was upgrading a piece of AF2+1 and I tried to cancel the upgrade while the NPC had the piece, and was also unable to do so.

..so what exactly does this mean? Is it only applicable to relic weapons? Anyone have ANY idea about this?

I think it means you can cancel the relic weapon quests.

If so... do you get your currency back.. cuz I have shitton tied up in bow that I would love to get back.

it means if you give your weapon to the goblin, you can go "GIMME MY SHIT BACK" and it will give you the weapon you've traded in back.

I don't believe it's so much as "undoing" it, but rather cancelling it maybe?

Cancelling most likely. I knew several people who wanted to change relic mid-upgrade, but they had already traded the relic weapon to the gob and he wouldn't let them upgrade another untill he'd been paid in full for that stage.


If it's an actual refund, our LS's mule has a Dynamis Gun on him that he doesn't use :D

seems like its more for the situaions where player gets bst-axe and upgrades stage 1 and leaves it in storage... 2 years later they want to do a different relic and would be fucked w/out the ability to nullify the previous relic upgrade.

I'm going to guess this. "Request" makes it sound like it's in the middle of an upgrade, thus in the middle of a relic+1 or relic weapon upgrade/enhancement sounds logical. "Enhance" sounds like going from NQ relic->HQ relic, whereas upgrade sounds like a better word for relic weapons. Then there's "equipment." Technically, that includes weapons and armor, but something tells me it sounds like it's referring to armor.
