    Parser

Lagunasa wrote:How do I make DVS parser work? :3

    1) this is probably better in the tech support forum but whatever.

    2) where are you stuck?

if you can't get it to load, make sure you unzipped the -entire- zip into the same folder, and make sure you installed the right version of the .net framework (2.0)

if it's loading and you just can't get it to parse.. well shit son, mess with the buttons. file>start new parse>select columns>done

make sure you're not filtering the stuff you want to see on the parse too.

    ------
Amele already responded to this, but i'm still stuck >.<. When it loads up just fine but it wont parse even when i set filters, not even chat comes up. I think i'm missing something. HALPPPP!!!!

-edit when i close parser POL crashes too

    Re: Parser

are you sure you have the latest version of dvsparse? the fact that it crashes pol when you close it makes me think you might not have an up to date version.

check http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvsparse and get the latest version.

otherwise, it sounds like you're maybe not initializing the parse? (are you going up to file>start new parse ?)

    Re: Parser

I am also having trouble with the DVS parse as well. It won't parse anything. I load it up with an without FFXI running. Hit start>new parse and also set columns. And nothing happened after 5-6 fights. I also have the .NET framework on my PC as well. Any help to get it running would be greatly appreciated. Running Vista 32bit if it makes a difference.

Try to load it after FFXI is running.

Thanks this fix worked great. Also noticed when I went to do this. That Vista had blocked this program from running cause it was downloaded from the internet.
