    en-spell weapons

    My question is with weapons such as the Buzzard Tuck or the Enhancing Sword how does the "Sword enhancement spell damage" take effect?

    Does it some how get factored into the formula? or is it directly added after the formula.

    I.E. With X stats and X conditions, with buzzard tuck[+2] (for simplicity), is it your enspell damage directly + 2 to what ever it would be normally [additional effect: 16+2]? or is it factored in in some odd way.

    Also the Buzzard Tuck effects only apply to that weapon and not your offhand does the Enhancing Sword follow this similar pattern?

    If your additional effect is 20, and your sword gives you +4, then you get 24. It's simple
    And it doesn't work for your offhand weapon.

    Ah, thankyou very much.
    EDIT: Do I need to keep on my enhancing gear after I cast the spell or can I take it off and have the same effect?

    you can take it off after you cast and have the same potential potency.
    however, there has been no testing done (to my knowledge) to show that wearing +enhancing skill gear will or will not reduce your resist rates. if you are just farming, i suppose it doesnt matter whether you leave it on or not, but if you are fighting something T+ you might want to experiment with leaving it on to see if there's a difference.

    Re: en-spell weapons

    Normally "Sword Enhancement Spell Damage" is a straight bonus to damage added at the end of the calculation. The only time it isn't seems to be in the Excavation Duty assault. Before they shadow-nerfed it, Hollow Earring kicked a lot of ass there with Joyeuse and Justice Sword. ;_;

    Also, it seems to me that the accuracy of an en-spell is determined when cast, so you probably don't need to keep on your enhancing gear. (But if someone wants to test it, please do.)

    As a side note, Blau dolch deals more En-element damage over time than Enhancing Sword if you gear for it.

    You only need to cast in enhancing gear, don't need it on.
