Moval Water

Now i know that this item is supposed to be only obtainable from Regional Vendors when movalpolos is under the control of a nation but last i checked my server Lakshmi hasnt had moval under any nations control since April 2005 yet as of late someones been constantly putting up 4-5 waters on our AH and by looking on FFAH ~ it seems on other servers people have been selling them as well.

So, is it just a coincidence that people are putting items on the AH that are from npc's that for most servers i know about havent seen action since mid 2005 or did SE ninja something last patch thats been overseen?

I've heard a rumor that the water can be found in chests/coffers in the region. There's another rumor that it is (was?) possible to buy from all regional vendors during the conquest tally. (If it used to be possible, but no longer, someone may have stocked up while it was). I can't say that I've tried verifying either rumor.

The last time my Server, Quetzalcoatl, had Moval was sometime late 2005 (roughly), and I took that time to make a new mule and completely fill it with Moval water so I would always have some for Hyper Pots/Ethers. However after 2 years I still hadn't dented the supply very much so now I'm just unloading it on my mule.

I still have about 10 stacks on a mule from the one time in the last 2 years we controled the region. Not sure what to do on it. I almost want to use it in cooking... :-/

Sell them. Given that it's impossible to obtain anymore, it could be worth quite a lot.

There are a handful of recipes I have wanted to take a crack at, and that is one of them. ^^ (Signed nuts for the win~)

I don't get why they keep adding recipes using Movalpolos Water or Baking Soda, and refuse to add any new ways to get the stuff. They can see that no one is claiming Movalpolos, right? The items that you can make with it don't seem like enough to convince people to go exp in Movalpolos...

(Especially since the rarity of the water makes it difficult to test what the cakes do. For all I know, Lebkuchen House = Ambrosia +5, but no one is testing them because it's so hard to get ingredients and so the few that exist are kept as treasured mementos.)

I tried the "conquest tally" method and it didn't work so I can confirm that's now how you get it.

Seeing as how there is a guy on my server who has an ENTIRE MULE full of waters I would think that's how people on other servers are getting them too. If it was something as simple as a coffer or a desynth or a mob drop I think we would have had some sightings by now.
