Live Quest Reward fights

The in-game rewards for the Live Quest were a series of exclusive fights. If anyone gets a chance to try them, please post asap. Ill be honest, Im considering soloing the General one XD.....

Btw, how did your generals fight go? Did that strat work?

Gonna try them sometime later, probably after the WoTG hype settles down a bit.

As for the event, heroes and heroines was pretty easy. Generals were a bit tougher. We think we could have won if the blm general didn't -aga III at a bad time, blm had 1 sec on stun when it went off ><.

Main reason for this post is I wanted to ask: For those who did these fights at fanfest, did the duration of haste seem longer than normal? I was accustomed to the duration in game, and it didn't wear when I expected it. I asked my war and he said he still had it.

By the time we tried to do it, it was too late. Fucking Thetruepandagod decided to sleep until 2 in the afternoon. I'm sure we would've won, too.

Here's what my team did, and we woulda won if the previous whm lpayer didn't set stoneskin macro to benecide -.-



WHm first, she's a beast, WS like mad, and crazy aoe, has benediction.

We beat on her til she benediction, then mnk used hundred fists and we worked her down.

BLM then attacked us, but it died quick.

Zazarg the fuckin monster attacked us. I was WAR and through defender iw as taking 80-90 a hit, followed up by a 501 dragon kick, i got a cure 4 back to about 490 hp, then he used something like "Metatonic Impact" or something like so, Final heaven animation, for 600 damage, killed off me, the tank, then used hundred fists..

well, we killed him with thf and whm left, the other 2 already had aggroed, so we had our thf exit the fight for lulz, whm died.


THF went back in solo, and solo'd whm to 40 or so % before bloody bolts / evasion lacked

What are the other battles other than Heroines and Generals?

Group I went with tried starting with BLM. Bad idea, got him to about 10% then Mihli decided to join up and Benedictioned him almost immediately. On the plus side, I managed to tank Mihli on RDM until she just about died

Well yes, but what do you fight in Hero's , I couldn't find that when I looked for it. I found out Gathering storm was the Assault from TGS 2006 where you have to kill as many mobs as you can and the target is 40, with auto refresh, regen, and tp applied.

Heroes fight was a fucking joke at last years fanfest for any organized group (There were very few. The group I was part of was the first to beat all 3 heroes at once and it was something like 1pm on the Friday). That the BC you are talking about? had each basic job w/ no SJ at level 60?
