Met 2 cool dudes from ifrit and one couple from Fairy. Forgot the ifrit guys names but the dude from Fairy is Strongkupo didn't get the girls name though. Pretty cool guys.

Talked to guys and gals at the FFXI Fan Festival counter where tickets were sold tonight. They said that all of the tickets are gone, between pre-registers and walk-ins. They said total walkins was 80 tickets only, and a grand total of 2,000 participants. They put me and the other walk-ins in a separate line and sent us to the counter one by one while the pre-registers went in groups to the counter. I was the last to join the original line they had started, and the FIRST people in that line were at the hotel since 6AM!!! crazy bastards! I joined at 3pm... and was super lucky though. The guy at the escalator on the first floor said we couldn't go up because the line was at full capacity. So we mgs'd to the elevators and got into the end of the line. Just then another guy said, "No more in the line!!!" and we were super lucky because he didn't kick us out.

The gobbie bag isn't awesome, but at least it's a real bag you can carry, and no some stupid plastic bag with shit in it. I can use it for .. somethin! Like hanging on my wall, I guess.

I didn't know who they were, and they were like... wait... "Coz"? as in "Cozma?!"

It was pretty funny, but that's how most of the meetups have been, really.


As for hot people, kind of in the eye of the beholder. I can say there are other girls, but I only counted like 40 in the line wrapping around the outside of the Hilton and like 10 in line with us up top in the actual hotel.

I don't know if many people actually saw my name badge, but I was "NPC Five" for the Live Quest from about 2pm-8pm. Yes, I was the one who gave you guys colored balloons and made you go trade them and bring back 4 colors ^^; People tended to "camp" me and trade with new PTs that came up (I had to make sure the new PTs got the right color or there'd have been a riot ^^; )
