Lynx hides

Anyone been able to get lynx hide from normal lynx's. or only war lynx?

I've gotten 4 hides in about 3 hours worth of farming on normal lynxs. Would compare the drop rate to something like carbuncle ruby, in the sense that the mobs are fairly common and bountiful but the droprate sucks regardless. Also got 5 pieces of lynx meat, and on one occasion, both dropped on the same kill.

they're going for 200k give or take on sylph, and I went like 3 hours whm/thf with zilch

I went 0/40 on Sauro Lynxes before I said buggerit (TH2+Knife). My competition said they were 2/250 (75NIN/THF).

I also just went 0/30 on Smilodons. Luckily I got one hide last night while I was waiting for a campaign battle to end.
