    WoTG Quests - Windurst View

So ive done all Windurst (S) Quests and Missions, some of the rewards are disapointing, rare/ex stuff to clog up MH and no gobby bag items. Also completed the 3 campaign Ops that were avaible, I guess a few more are available once tags regen.

Anyway my question is this: I want to do the sandy/bastok quests, but I read that talking to the wrong npc = automatically signs you up for that nation? Was wondering which npcs exactly these are..? And which ones are safe to do, especially the quests with gobby bag rewards is what im mainly looking for atm.

Don't talk to the people behind the counters and you will be fine.

As far as I know, the only one where there's a problem with being signed up without wanting to, is the Windy one. But yeah, if you want to be safe, avoid the people behind the counter and to the sides. The quests in Sandy are way away from them anyway.

lmfao @ huge blue egg and Countchocula. I finished the Sandy quests and they are pretty straight-forward. Second sandy quest "Claws of the Griffon" requires you to kill a NM but it's very easily soloable by a 75 nin. As previously mentioned, the NPC's for these quests are widely separated from the allegiance change NPC's so they shouldn't be easily confused.

fuck you Bagel, I just gave myself a minor asthma attack laughing at that post.

That said, I'm slightly disappointed with the blue egg -- it's always seemed like it would be a neat piece of furniture to have around, but compared to some of the nicer new things we have, it's low res and poly count are terribly disappointing.

Why being disapointed? It's not like you can't do every quest.

As for signup quest, I completed the windy one and said no when she was asking to join. I also started bastok one, but I'm scared to finish it since I've a lot more point than before.

I put my huge blue egg in the back of my MH maze for people to go "WTF IS THAT!?!" at when they zone in.

It is really low poly count though, wish it had a more accurate star map or something.

Yes, the big blue egg--err, the Star Globe--really does look like ass. I was so disappointed when I saw mine for the first time. It doesn't even look like a star map. No wonder no one ever synths them.

The Mithra asks you if you want to join Windy after you complete her task.

It's also an old-ass recipe, just one nobody really did or needed to.

(And it could use work. Seriously.)

So you can't do all 3 mission branches without messing up your campaign rank/notes?

    FK U ALL!

    WINDY OWNZ!

KOCCO'S EARRING FTW! I mean, did you see that mama Mithra put her Daughter mithra over her knee and spank her vehemonty... Maaaan, I just did not press the "enter" button until I knew she would atone for her sins...

    ...and various other reasons...

The earring was nice. I don't spank it to Mithra kids, though. Eew.

FYI: If you simply sell the rewards, you'll end up with around 20K in Gil for doing the two Tigress quests.

Star Globe does have a nice mogenhancement if you're still big on conquest: it will increase the amount of influence points you generate exping with signet on (varies with element strength; 1 Star Globe = +10 darkness aura, so need 11 to get max bonus if you have no other darkness furniture). Other than that it's just nice to scare people with and/or brag that you have one <3

I gave up on my Mogenhancements...too much storage needed.

(although once I get all those 9-drawers paid for, hmm...)

And the Reraise Earring I did NOT sell. Just the hi-elixir and globe would bring in about that much.

Re: WoTG Quests - Windurst View

So you can't do all 3 mission branches without messing up your campaign rank/notes?
You can. Your notes transfer even if you switch nations-- they're not tied to your allegiance like CP. Your rank will only get messed up if you actually have a rank, so you lose nothing if you do all the quests before you get into the Ops/battles. You also lose any Op "tags" you have saved up.

Otherwise they take away your two highest decorations when you switch. So you could, hypothetically, switch from Windy to Sandy to buy a Sandy item with your notes, then switch back and lose 2 medals/ribbons/whatever in both.
