360 Red ring problem

May have gotten looked over in the other 360 thread that was made so wanted to make a new one,

My 360 after having it for about 2 weeks just red ringed yesterday, I took it with me to NJ from upstate NY and it was handled properly, wasn't tossed around or anything. I have one of the new falcon mobos in it and everything (was only 1 left that I could find at my best buy) I also got the 2 year warantee(sp) on it there. I flipped out because I have highspeed here and not at my house(only satellite, so no cod4 there, etc) and I can't return it down here. The power supply light was still orange, I unplugged it, replugged everything and it went away thank God. Some people are saying return it and get another right away and others are saying don't worry about it, I personally just think it's better to keep it till it shits out again, but idk, suggestions? also any idea what could've caused it?

was it 1, 2, 3, or 4 red lights?

most likely what happened is that you didnt have the power supply completely connected, which i forget how many of the red lights flash if it doesnt have adequate power. if you reseated the power and it went away that is most likely all the problem was. it happens to our interactive at work from time to time as we unplug it every night and sometimes we dont completely reseat it into the plug completely.

Loose plug, should be fine. Does the same thing if your A/V plug is loose.
