Favorite/Worst Stages

Whats everyone favorite/worst stages to play on?

Distant Planet - Its grown on me, i thought it was stupid at first but its a pretty cute stage once you've played on it enough times. The bulborb that drags people away reminds me of why Pikmin was so addictive.

Battleship Halberd - Kirby. Super Star. 'nuff said.

Great Sea (Tetras Pirate Ship) - Its a small stage, so there isnt much running away from the opponents plus it has the swim feature and the exploding bomb smoke that i enjoyed from WW.

Worst?

Rumble Falls
Hyrule Temple

just to name a few.

Best

Warioware - Actually playing the mini-games and then getting a little bonus (HP, Starman, Mushroom) for "winning" them is such an awesome concept. It's such a fun, fun level that has a high amount of interaction while not seeming overly gimmicky. I've said before that this is the best level ever added to Smash Bros and I think I still stand by that.

Shadow Moses Island - I really love the concept of this level. Multi-tiered with breakable side walls yet basic at the same time. The music is awesome too. It's a great environment to fight in.

Mario Bros. - I HATED this level when I first played it. After playing it more though it creates a really unique way of playing the game where throwing the walking enemies at players is more important than actual fighting. I'm not sure I could play it constantly but as something we occasionally pick, I can't remember the last time I played this level without laughing for the entire fight.

Great Sea - My favourite level bar none. Every time I play online this is picked first and then many, many times afterwards. I guess looking the way it does sits well with me too as I'm a huge fan of Wind Waker and think it's the best looking game ever conceived. It has several excellent Zelda themes (Molgera, Dragon Roost Island, Village of the Blue Mountain). A small space to fight in and a safety net of water for someone who falls off the level too much just makes this so perfect to me.

Smashville - Saturday, 20:00-00:00, best level.

Bridge of Eldin - Don't really have much to say about this, it's just perfect. Vast range of musics, familiar setting, looooooong stage and events that happen from Twilight Princess.

Worst

75m - Banned when we play online. I don't mind levels with obstacles but as an Ike player, I don't want to have to spend more time worrying about my footing than trying to kill the opponent.

Rumble Falls - Horrible, horrible stage. Does anyone think constantly having to move upwards is fun? This could only be worse if it had the hilariously bad rap song that's reserved for the Melee stage.

Russta pretty much has the basics covered, though I'd wanna add Spear Pillar (evil purple mode) as one of the worst offenders. Having the screen flip horizontally or vertically so often, while maintaining normal, top-down controls so you're completely disoriented, sucks balls. It's not bad to happen once in a while but I swear it's happened at least 5 or 6 times in a 5-minute match before, which is a bit much. Not to mention that between the bouts of flipping screens there's the actual stage itself perpetually trying to kill you. Mercifully, at least from my experience, the evil purple mode is rare, and you usually get the not so evil blue mode.

final destination was my fav in melee, no bullshit walls or anything to protect ya, but in brawl it looks meh since its alot smaller, ice climbers special gonna rape on that stage

I love LM on ike, so easy to rack up stupid damage on ike against zoners, then again I only really play zoners

James needs to play more wario and DK there, hopefully I'll never have to see battlefield again after this saturday (items are sort of getting me pissy too but that might be because invincibility stars like showing up right under naks's ass)/
