Never saw it this color before. Is it new or did I just miss seeing this all this time?

They added a new one this update, so they probably changed his to reflect the new model. Similar looking Mezraq in the update too.

So is Bahadur (+1) the best buyable GS for WAR now? But im guessing Algol is still the best choice over all still? or does Perdu beat that out? Ive yet to mess with GS on WAR, so looking for something to use without costing me an arm and a leg since ill rarely use it.. gogo Skofung or Martial >.>

The good news is they're a questable reward from Bastok, so in theory you could be running mules through for them.

On a slightly related topic, has anyone noticed other new gear for some of the NPC's? For instance, Kayeel-Payeel in Windurst Waters [S] was originally wearing BLM AF prior to the update, now he has some armor I've never seen before. I'll try to get a pic when I'm back to Windy.

He wears the new abjuration set, the Shadow Coat and what not, and yeah some NPCs got make-overs, mostly weapons and stuff.

We'll have to see how easy/hard that is to get ;/

I think Jacaranda logs aren't too uncommon a result from logging in the new WOTG areas, such as Jugner Forest (S). Prior to the Mar. 11 update, they were selling for 100k a piece, and there weren't too many recipes (perhaps none) using Jacaranda Log/Lumber. But crafters were buying them up at 100k a pop on Ramuh.

Not TOO hard to get, about the same rate as Khroma ore without the annoying aggro mobs.

As long as you don't count DC Gobs and VT Lobisons as "annoying aggro mobs", then sure.

Going up on Ramuh now, but only up to 150-160k right now.
