Video of Absolute Virtue Weakness Released! (02/13/2008)

Today will see the release, in video format, of a helpful hint concerning that most notorious of notorious monsters, Absolute Virtue.

What does this mean? Well, I watched it and picked up a few things. The first of which, which doesn't seem to have a point is JoL in the begining. All we really see is BLMs laying waste to the Ru'phuabos. Is this related? I couldn't tell you.

Next, moving on to A/V himself. First thing I noticed was the use of lower tiered nukes corresponding to the day. That seemed to work out.
Tanks were PLD/???s and RDM/NINs all using probably earth staves.
Now here's the big one involving two-hours. It's a little odd since the chat box moves so fast in the video. First, AV kicks on invincible then a great deal of players counter with their own two-hours. This happens twice in the video.
Next is something that moves by so quickly I'm amazed I caught it. AV can be intimidated. Now I'm not sure what gear caused it or if it's related to the previous notion about two-hours.

A little late, but we've been disecting it already. AV didn't use Invincible or get intimidated. Pause the video at those points and you see him indimitating and the Plds using Invincible.

I used the search button, I think I must of missed the topic somewhere then.

Two major complaints: It's a streaming video. It's interlaced. Way to go with the video SE.

i don't get it. ppl are using their 2 hours multiple times during the fight...do they somehow get recharged or is this fight supposed to take 6 hours. With WMP u can slow it down to half speed to read the log easier.
