Manaburn locales 66-72

Hi. I'm Kang from Titan. This is my first time posting on blurgartr. I've been playing FFXI for 3.5 years now.

My question is in regards to what locations a full 6 person blm party can experience at from about the mid 60s to the early 70s when flans and roaches become the norm.

I'm currently leveling cor (69) and I grew tired of people only ever wanting to xp in mire. I had a 6 person manaburn today and we tried roaches just past the Gates of Halvung but my blms had too many resists.

So if anyone could tell me some good burn locales it would mean a lot.

I remember doing a manaburn 69 at KRT with Firaga III.
That's the turning point from AM to -ga spells.

Can't remember much. it was like 2 years ago since i level my BLM :/
And this is a non ToAU area. So no Sanction bonus.

Hmm... BLMs shouldn't be getting resists at 69..or even 66 i don't think.
I was in a manaburn party from like 66-72 there.. it was just the same people and we rotated people in and out when they had to sleep lol
Then i got 72-75 in one pt on puddings.

Mount z is a godsend for BLM exping at those levels

The black mages were getting resisted a lot. Someone told me roaches have higher magical defense than flans do but of course, flans are too high for my level range. What about rats outside Nyzul SP? What is a good level to say have a couple of blms and refresher pt on these without taking too much of a penalty on xp? Thanks for the replies.

When the roaches (prince) are stretched out they have a high MDB. Have 1 BLM cast a tier 3 nuke as its incoming too the pt and it should put them in ball form. Once in ball form you can nuke for normal dmg.

Early on at lvl 66 we found it best too have 1 BLM cast a tier 3 nuke to push it into its ball form then sleep and do a timed nuke. Once your BLMs are lvl 69+ they should be able to nuke freely w/o worrying to much about its stretched form.

Pre-69 do wamoura.

Once your BLMs hit 69 go with Firaga Puddings. If puddings are taken go to KRT and do Skeletons.

KRT manaburn is fun. Needs a bard who isn't a pussy, then you'll do 10k/hr relatively easily.

Puddings are solo onry. Don't take a party there unless you want to piss people off. The camp can't even handle more than 3 lvl75s. If someone is soloing they can and will ruin your chains on purpose.

on my server people party (5 blms + refresher) at puddings quite often. in fact every time i go down to zhayolm (rare these days, can almost get the same exp in sea) it's taken by a party.
