Lately, Firefox has been rather upsetting more than useful to me. Pages would load incredibly slow for example. Also, when I opened a second tag, I couldn't view my first tab. It would freeze the entire browser until the 2nd page was done loading entirely (so say I'm watching a youtube video and I open a new tab a click a slow website like KI and then click the first tab again. The video would just sit in the same spot no sound or visual until the 2nd tab was 100% done loading)
So now that everything is taking such a long time to load and I can't really view multiple shit at once, now it starts to crash pretty often. My first thought was a virus, but this would only happen to Firefox, not IE.
My first reaction was to remove Firefox and then download a new one, but once I did this, I was having the same results.
This brings me to my point. I've been getting d/c'd from my pc for the past week. It would never be long at all, but enough to boot me from FFXI. My first thought here was that maybe I had a pretty shitty connection (Which I do because I'm leeching wirelessly), but what I couldn't understand is why I was d/c'ing multiple times in a row every 15 minutes, but when I was afk (sleeping) could leave FFXI up for hours and hours and not get d/c'd.
After all this, I stopped playing FFXI for a bit cause I was pissed off at getting d/c'd every 15 minutes. At this point I thought "Maybe I have many programs open" (IM, Multi-tab Firefox, FFXI). So here I am w/o FFXI up and browsing Firefox. Then it crashes and my instant messenger d/c's at this time. So I try this a few more times. I open multiple tabs on Firefox and cause it to overload/crash and here it is my messenger d/c's again. At this point, I leave Firefox alone and browse with IE and then open FFXI and I haven't d/c'd since
Conclusion: Firefox has been causing my PC to temp disconnect from its wireless host as it crashes.
Query: WTF is up with my Firefox?
