So far it is ok... nothing super exciting. Extremely easy so far and even though i am only a bit into the game, i get the feeling that it is going to continue to be pretty 'dumbed down' and easy =(

Story is not bad so far, gameplay is what you would expect if you are familiar with the first, but I had to check it out anyway.

Do oyu still have to stay inside that damn Filter range? and does the story keep repeating itself like in the original CC? I liked the gameplay of the original CC but I hated the filter and the fact that the story repeated itself 3 damn times.

Probably why it says FINAL FANTASY in huge letters and "Crystal Chronicles" is barely readable on the box.

Thank goodness they took all the negative criticism to heart when they were working on this(and the Wii version) so it's not nearly as tedius, although 4 player CC on Gamecube(and Zelda Four Swords) is an AMAZING multiplayer experience, it's quite a pain to get everything set up.

I really really really really really hope there is a Red Mage outfit in the game since they have quite a few classic FF job outfits in there. Can anyone confirm? :D

You for the majority 99.99% do not have to stay within the range of a carried item to keep poison away, there's 2-3 rooms in the whole game that do have poison but it's not a theme or anyway overly annoying.

The ally AI is terrible, expect to either solo bosses or be raising them often. The game is fun and did fix many problems, but it still has many left, perhaps the next game will get it right, because this series could be quite good. Also there's a total of 4 areas you got to on the world map, while you visit other locations in towns and dungeons through story, you have access to 4 areas from the world map.

I wish they would've added online play. :\ Don't even care if it allowed for playing against random people, but just for playing against friends who are far away it would've been appreciated.
