Rocl Cup Poll: Healing Items

Healing Items, hearts, tomatoes, food, you know the deal. I know there's a very similar thread to this already in the section, but I figure since I'm fishing for a very specific response, I'll post this poll. Whatever comes out on top by the end of today will be one of the official rules of the Rocl Cup.

Now, since we can't very well monitor your matches, if someone were to break these rules (i.e. leaving on heart containers when Tournament Committee decided otherwise), one of the two people in the match should post (both preferable) and just rematch.

It's really hard to regulate without physically being there, so honor-system kids! I don't want to arbitrarily assign rules, so I'm making polls, and when I said Tournament Committee- I meant you. Poll runs until this time tomorrow.

Not everyone plays at the same time so he'd be doing a lot of waiting around and scheduling his day around other players' matches.

But if all you do is camp HNM's, it's probably an easy job.

This tournament is based on using items. There will be a tournament that will use no items.

Something to consider. Since a lot of people are voting no food.

We should just do a "No holds barred" tournament. Then an items restricted tournament. BING best of both worlds.

i'm not in the tourney but im sure a ton of people already voted that aren't in it anyway.

Hearts aren't so overpowered anymore, the same with tomatoes but imo that's still a little much.. it takes little skill to just get lucky and have a heart land at your feet after you flew 90 miles away from the opposition. I voted food only because it doesn't really change much, it may save your life from 1 hit but you're still going to be done for, if you're good enough you could play safe and get even more food to lower % to a managable level wich has alot more skill than being lucky as hell. It just makes sense to me..

You can grab/use items out of the sky . It's pretty dirty.

Thing about a "serious" tournament is people are likely going to be using different controls as Brawl was built around GCN controllers and people like me don't have them(and can't find even wavebirds to buy). There's also the issue of lag, which miffed last time I joined an online tournament because things dropped to 5-10 frames a second.

I agree that lag will be an issue. I do hope that people that are established as having lag issues will avoid participating until they can resolve the issues, though. Reminds me of how much I hate the laggy people who join the Brawl With Anyone mode.

Not really, from what I heard the classic controller is better than the GCN controller unless you're well trained on the GCN.

whats so hated about the wiimote/nunchuk again? cause i prefer using it over the gc controller anyday

You basically have to choose between a c-stick or a jump on the right side. I use it because it's all I have. I don't have classic or GCN controller.
