Sandoria Mission/Quest Guide for 3/11/08

1. Speak with Raustigne at the zone to North Sandoria[S]. (I-7) (AKA Victory gate, AKA the zone leading to North Sandy)

2. Speak with Rholont of the young griffons. (E-7)

3. Proceed to Vunkerl Inlet and check the ??? located at (H-6) near the bridge.

4. Inspect the Leafy Patch at (F-5).

5. Return to the ??? at (H-6) with your Herb and recieve a reward (MAY VARY)
Sandoria and choosing Red herb at right time netted Carbon Rod. Sandorian member who selected Red herb during Windurst hours also got Carbon Rod and same CS as rest.

6. Return to South Sandoria [S] (E-7) and speak with Rholont.

7. Proceed to Jugner Forest [S] and check the ??? beneath a large podium at North-east (H-10). Beware Gnole aggro as they do in fact roam over the spawn.

8. Buff up and check the ??? once more to spawn the Orc Cobraclaw Buchzvotch(MNK). He seems to be EM/VT difficulty. Some 75 jobs can solo.

9. Inspect the ??? again for a CS.

10. Return to South Sandoria [S] (E-7) and speak with Rholont.

11. You will recieve temporary Key Item "Military Scrip" Exchangable for "any currency. We cannot currently figure out where/who to take it to. No obvious hints were given. ***Update we checked with essentially every single NPC in the past. We are now attempting to check the present. There is possibly a dead-end or a jp midnight wait involved.

San d'Orian, picked green herb during Windurst hours also got Carbon Rod.

No they are on all fours and are DC. Only one paths close enough to aggro.

Just soloed Orc RDM/PLD.

The DC gnoles are definitely easier than the orc. It has so much HP and attacks faster x.x

waited for day change after i got the temporary key item from defeating the orc / rescueing that person. Nothng happened. JP midnight maybe? I hope not

depending on the time of day you pick the herb is what color
0:00~7:28 - San d'Oria (Red Herb)
8:00~15:59 - Bastok (Blue Herb)
16:00~23:59 - Windurst (Green Herb)

I did it during the first time window (red herb) and received a Carbon Fishing Rod.

Yeah we're just not sure if it seems to affect the reward in any way. If anyone gets something other than Carbon Rod, please report!

Sandoria already got the 2 stones needed for the new Gobbiebags before, when Bastok just got some Gil and Windurst got a furniture. But i guess QQing about something is always good. :bagel:

Am i missing something? The stones can be quested by everyone, as well as the Adaman Ignot, the Carbon Rod, the Gil....
I'm really glad they put all those storys in Quests now. At least i don't have to switch nations and lose Outposts (or medals in this case) to experience the full story of the addon.

I just wanted to do my ladybug wing quest after sort of ignoring it. But instead... Wyatt took my "military scrip" and gave me about 20k gil.

Nobody said anything about this so far, but the NM Cobraclaw does a move called Tornado Edge, didn't break my Stoneskin or anything but gave me Max HP Down, Max MP Down, and Max TP Down

It just said "Unable to accumulate 300% TP." I didn't really get to test, because by the time I noticed he was dead and it had wore

Could this possibly be the status effect "Malice?" I have never seen it anywhere in any resource, forum, or ingame. But it is listed as an effect that can be removed/resisted by a new kind of gear right? Ruh roh!

It was listed as Max TP Down, so I doubt it'd be "Malice"
