The Florida Supreme Court will no longer accept anything directly from controversial Miami attorney Jack Thompson. If Thompson wants to file with the Court, he’s going to need to hire another lawyer to do it on his behalf.

That’s the ruling handed down by the Court late this morning.

As GamePolitics reported last month, the Florida Supreme Court issued a show cause order demanding that Thompson explain why the sanction shouldn’t be issued. Clearly, Thompson’s multiple responses did nothing to change the collective mind of the Justices.

About time.

He cant present anything, and if he wants to....he needs to hire another lawyer to do it?

If he were to go back to "normal" law practices, and takes a client. Wouldnt he need to hire a 2nd lawyer to present the case to the court because he cant? lol

Unfortunately it wont stop him like others have said he is determined and it probably will not be too difficult for him to find another layer to be his annoying voice in court.

This somewhat hurts his ability to appear credible when appearing on such fine journalistic sources as Fox News as an "expert source" whenever a kid shoots up his school. Someone who's been disbarred is a bit too shady, even for them.

He'll probably still be around on conservative talk radio, though. And let's not forget all the gaming sites, as they are his #1 source of publicity. If they ignored him he would probably disappear out of the mainstream altogether, but they won't.
