Should've seen this thread coming after your post in spam.
It's already pretty obvious that the war on drugs has been a failure.
LOL I saw the topic and thought I was in spam.

Even though it's not 100% of all the cases guartz, that mentality definitely plays a role.Originally Posted by guartz

fucking goats is illegal.
why isn't there a huge peer pressure to fuck goats?
I think somebody is swallowing too much government information on drugs.
Almost every rational person when given the facts will agree that the War on Drugs is an utter and complete failure, and yet the only political party that stands up and makes this a part of their platform still struggles to try to get a million votes for their Presidential candidate. Has neocon propaganda worked that well or do people actually like tyranny?
There is no "mainstream" goat fucking.
EXACTLY! incentives have to come from somewhere. Making something illegal doesn't automatically make it appealing.Originally Posted by Tajin

It's scary, but all it takes is one lousy commercial that "candidate so and so is weak on drugs" and it's political murder.Originally Posted by pohibaba

i've typed out 2 w-o-t responses and i don't believe wholeheartedly in any of them, discussions like this remind me of exactly why I don't watch the f-ing news, it just gets me so angry and riled up and for what?
OH HAI I CHANGED THE WORLD TODAY
no i f-ing didnt, and neither did you
I remember once a friend of mine, new to Canada, asked some offhand question over some pints and I ended up going off on a rant that built exponentially ever more angrily for like half an hour
finally I stopped. surprised how much anger was stored up... I dunno, I just don't have any answers and I have no idea which media outlets are reliable, and I dunno about you guartz but I can't bring myself to read up on this crap every day, I guess I'm just way too disillusioned
what pisses me off more though are the f-ing water cooler office idiots who spout the sound-byte they saw on the newsscreen in the elevator and act like they know what the fk
don't mind me, my sarcastic little quote was probably more helpful![]()
Good, exactly. The image has very good appeal, but now we strayed away from illegal/legal incentives talk.Originally Posted by Delta_9

I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree here, I know I can't change your point of view on this.

There is a very strong incentive increase when drugs are illegal. But the incentives are to sell them, because of the increased profits. So is it possible the counter-culture for mary j and lsd was caused by a drug lord with a marketing sense? lol
I understand if there is an addiction involved, like heroine. But mary j isn't addictive.
whatever, it still makes the truck stop quote outside reality.

Although it doesn't really translate over the interwebs so well, I guess when people start cursing and hurling insults it means they are upset.
I never said it was the end all cause of it. I definitely said it just plays a role in the decision of a few. lol Some people just love drugs, others get it pushed on them, and others just want to be part of the counter culture.
