    Still works.

5 People "Red pearl" After you click to confirm entry, takes about 30's to enter salv, so do end tasking a few seconds after you're in works.

The moment you press confirm to take everyone in, tell everyone to force DC. There should be plenty of time, they don't even have to have the red icon for them not to enter.

I usually leave it on the last menu, ask them to d/c, wait like 4-5 seconds and then hit enter before their red ball actually shows up, same results though.

Re: "Red pearl" Trick for low manning salvage

    My method~

Set a time on the vana'diel clock, people who need to DC do so at that time. Their dots will turn red about 5 vana'diel minutes later, confirm entry about 5 vana'diel minutes after that(so :10 after the DC time). It's really simple and easy this way. Also, having done this enough times to solo 5x 35 pieces, I can say that if someone logs back on too soon after crashing out, they can be put in to the zone regardless of where they were when you entered. Waiting 2 minutes should suffice.

Re: "Red pearl" Trick for low manning salvage

We do this every run, pretty much because we always get a lucky number 11 and I never do any zone with more than 6 unless the sky is falling. Here's a couple tips:

    1. There's no rush. Just wait till everyone has red dot up and when you see all of them, start pressing the door and choosing the options. You have a ton of time to choose and you ensure you aren't being too hasty. There really is no rush to activate.

    2. Tell the people who d/ced to wait before coming back. We have had two cases of people coming back and being inmediately transported and both have been aparently related to coming back to early. My guess is the server has some kind of time out that probably hasn't reached by the time the person comes back in.

Oh a funny note, one of the times i actualy got an invite from the group that was waiting while i forced entered the first group, i accepted that invite just as i was being transport with the first group, which ended up in me being in another party from the outside sharing zone with the first group >_> Pretty messed up. I'm pretty sure it is related to coming back too fast, as it happened only once more to another member who did the same.

Re: "Red pearl" Trick for low manning salvage

This is why I like my way better.

With the way you guys do it, it registers their names as people who entered, and only after a certain amount of time when they haven't transported to the zone, it'll time out.

However, when I see the red dots, I wait 40 seconds, then press enter. The people drop from the game while it's doing the ~20 second wait, and if they log back in right after you enter, they aren't forced in because the game only registered the people who stayed. It takes about 45 seconds for someone to drop after they start d/cing, so they d/c 5-10 seconds after you press enter.

    I've done recently Zhayolm MME 4F (the one that drops the 3 lv 15 100%) with a party of 3 persons: RDM/NIN, WAR/NIN, SAM/NIN

Re: "Red pearl" Trick for low manning salvage

After thinking about it for a while I just realized that a MNK + WHM combo could probably do Hammerblow and maybe Dekka as well. Any thoughts on this?

Re: "Red pearl" Trick for low manning salvage

Very possible, Hammerblow is a joke in every possible case, just need a good strategy for dealing with the 6 fomors. You could tailor anything here, but pulling and running till you lose hate and had them spread then kill one by one walking back could work.

All that's stoping you from doing this successfuly would be time. Devilet (the imp before Dekka) takes damn long to kill, i'd expect quite a bit of time wasted there. Dekka basicly suicides itself with counter, but could take long too.

Also, if you could get a 3rd (say, a brd), then this is a no brainer.
