Does ffxi ps2 registration work on pc?

I have been playing on the ps2 for a while now and want to have the option to be able to play on my laptop. if i download the pc version off a torrent do ps2 registration codes work?

Yes, the only thing is you (obviously) can't use the PS2 discs to install on PC and such. But if you torrent the installation and such, you should be fine.

I used an x360's code for my pc when wotg first came out and the PC version would come a few days later.

I play on the PC all the way. I have bought a new machine since I started playing and re-installed FFXI. I didn`t have to input my reg codes. I believe it is all based on the account. You need the reg codes to create an account but once the account is made, said reg codes are linked to the account until you delete them. So all you need is the account information in order to play on pc. Just pick already a member or whatever the option is and it shouldn`t prompt you for reg codes.
