Ps2 FFXI players, please help

When I attempt to connect to Playonline, it will go through the normal process -- detecting eternet connection, verifying PoL ID/pW, and checks current version.

It then takes me to a screen saying the CC I used was invalid. When I click proceed to give it a new one, it gives the option (the only option) to connect or exit. Clicking connect will try to do just that and it hangs up on the first stage, detecting eternet connection.


I'm using Comcast Cable Modem. Any ideas?

I never had that problem with PS2... I would suggest talking to the PoL Tech Support via online chat... Which is open M-F 9:00am PST - 6:00pm PST I believe, maybe even 5. So if you want to get anything done, do it now because I am sure they will be closed for the holiday tomorrow.

Sounds like maybe you didn't pay your bill for last month? They canceled my account when I changed my CC to a new card and forgot to update my info. I would call and give them a new CC over the phone. If that's not the case, they'll probably just tell you to reinstall or something.
